CC vs cup letter — why there is no chart

People often ask how many cc make a cup size. There is no reliable chart.

What a CC is

cc means cubic centimetre. It is a measure of volume. Every My Dream Size sizer has a set cc — from 200cc to 1200cc in 100cc steps. The number only tells you how much volume you are comparing. It does not name a cup or a look.

What a cup letter is

A cup letter is a bra fit label. It moves with the band and the brand. Each brand cuts its cups its own way. A C in one shop can read as a D in another. “Full C” is a feeling in that brand’s bra, on that band. It is not 300cc or 400cc.

Why the same CC looks different on different bodies

The number is the same. The body is not. Chest width, existing tissue, skin, and how the sizer sits all change the picture. Photos online are someone else’s body, someone else’s bra, someone else’s light. That is why a comparison on you is the only one that counts.

What to do instead of chasing a letter

Pick two sizes next to each other — for example 300 and 400, or 500 and 600. Try one, then the other, under the same clothes. The difference is easier to see than a letter ever is. We do not tell you which to keep.
